• Land Use & Rezoning Approval:The Small-Scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment (SsCPA) application has been submitted, marking a significant milestone in the project. This transition ensures that the Meadowbrook site is optimized for medium-density residential living while preserving open spaces for community enjoyment.

• Community Engagement:Recent workshops have provided valuable insights and feedback from local residents. These sessions have helped shape the direction of the project, ensuring it meets the needs of the Gainesville community.

Looking Ahead:

The next steps include public hearings with the Planning Commission and the Board of County Commissioners in early 2025.
